2 Stories/ 4:18 PM I love Skynetglobal!! Hahas... Yups, at a mac beside AMKSS using internet here, take some time off to blog while sending emails... Hmm, went for mambo yesterday, had a good time there!! Learnt a few moves there, maybe can use them for O week?! hahas... weeee~ this is my FIRST time there in 22 years!! :P Oh ya, and I had a good chat about, err, sex on the taxi with Pat and the Taxi uncle! hahs, so funny, learnt about the "22 days don't touch or you kena" theory from the taxi uncle (cannot elaborate too much here, for more details, call Pat or Bit) hahas... Ooh, wana blogged about 2 stories that happen on Tues night and Wed afternoon... Tues night (2200 hours, AMK centre S-11): There were 2 construction workers drinking and chatting at the coffeeshop, one of them was complaining to his friend in Hokkien: "Knn, that stupid architect is damn toot, design out something without proper calculations and considerations (thereafter he gave many cheem cheem construction worker lingos which I don't understand). Me, Banglas, China workers, and everyone else tell him it won't work, but he insisted, saying that we don't think and had no sense of aesthetics! Knn, we spent hours to build that pavillion structure, end up Boss say don't like, and scolded us for building it! CB la, think he uni grad big toot la?! Dono what he study in uni one ar!" His friend asked: "so what happen in the end?" "Knn! We haf to destroy it la! CB, build it just to destroy it! Nowadays uni grads are getting cleverer!" Well, clash of thinking between on-the-ground workers and thinking scholars? Perhaps... Wed afternoon (1330hr, my house): My cousin was watching the afternoon news and started complaining: "walaus, this stock of mine ar, I invested so much money in it, spent so much time looking at its rise and fall from newspaper and TV, and its not making any progress! Blogging in NUS Guild House/ 11:30 PM Blogging in NUS Guild House's Reading Room now... Just had Russian cuisine at Stamford Restaurant with my family to celebrate Mothers' Day... It feels great to use the NUSS membership card!!! Wooohooo! Played mahjong with my bros on Vesak Day eve. Hahas, guess they are expecting me to kao beh abt some stuff here... Nope, I'm not gona kao beh here! lalala... Of coz, as usual, bit bit lost money again, but its the time spent together that's important wat! 醉翁之意不在酒嘛. 输赢不重要， 大家开心就好哦 开心就好... Vesak Day = Arts Camp meeting day... At night, I can't sleep... 在夜里，最铁石心肠的人也是最容易被情感, 思绪与寂寞侵袭的目标... haiz... Was thinking over many things that night, suddenly I became very confused, scared and indecisive... Mebbe I'll talk about it next time, but not now coz I haven't sort out my thoughts yet... (and its hard to find someone for a heart-to-heart session nowadays too) I finally fell asleep while listining to i-tunes and thinking... eh, weird... blogging more and more in Chinese le... jialat, turning chee-na liao! SHIOK!!/ 3:59 PM Woooohoooo!! (jialat, sounds more and more like hard gay le...) Went shopping with Hair Gek Kng yesterday, the feeling of going shopping after so long is... SHIOK!! The feeling of getting praised by a Taiwan Professor for my fluent Chinese and English is... more SHIOK!! WAHAHA!!! :D Just finished lunch with ghim and laine, now there are 2 corpses lying in my room... eh hullo, den where am I going to nap?! Blog a bit while waiting for 6.30pm to come for me to set off for my family dinner at... Ban Seng!! Yesh, the restaurant for foodhunt... 旧地重游，却另有一番滋味上心头... told you my chinese is good wat... hee... :P Think 黄舒骏's 《少年狂想曲》 (yesh, its another chinese retro) is really the song for me... Updates.../ 7:28 PM Diaoss... Its a weird feeling to be back in hall on a Sunday evening, just because I need to use the internet. And its damn quiet and lonely!!! Life's a bit empty when I step out of the exam hall on Thurs, its a weird feeling to have nothing to study all of a sudden... But, this feeling of emptiness is good!! Hahas... Went for Student Leaders' Appreciation Dinner on Friday at NUS Guild House. Exchanged a few contacts, hope that it'll be useful for Arts Club and myself in the long run.. :) On the same night, I went to attend my first and last election rally at Serangoon Stadium. Who says that Singaporeans are politically apathetic? Look at the crowd at the election rallies man, and the traffic jam it caused! Listen to the cheerings, shoutings... Wow, its really a sensaional rally, thought-provoking as well... What thoughts do I have? Hmm, don't tell you! Political blogging not allowed de ley... On the same night, went to Jax's house to play mahjong with laine, ghim, pat, mike and his gf... Yeah! Its been a looong while since I touched the tiles! weeee~~ Lost a few bucks, but what's important is the time spent together... :) Saturday, Voting Day!!! weeeee~~ So excited as a first-time voter!! Who did I vote for? Voting is secret ley... :P Slept for the whole day from Saturday till Sunday... That's why now I'm back in hall checking mails and prepare for next week's campus tour... tagboard remarks.../ 2:17 AM Ghim felt the disturbances in me yesterday and had a brief talk with me... He asked me to remove my tagboard, so that I don't need to trouble myself with those not-so-good remarks. He said, "tagboards are for non-controversial people. But apparently, ure not one..." Hahas, I like the term "controversial character"... However, I've decided to keep the tagboard. For many reasons: 1) why should I be afraid? 2) people want to feedback, I need to and should listen, thus I should provide them with the place to speak, isn't it? 3) its always easier to complain than to compliment, to find faults than to search the good points. 4)逃避是解决不了问题的. And there are other reasons too, Ghim, I'll tell you privately k, if not pple will start to kb again... (coz there are eyes watching *looks around suspiciously*) hahas... :P Had been so "un-tan-chuan-seng" for days... Time to break free, 破茧而出... By the way, really hafta thank my hall blk 5 peeps who are always there to help me de-stress all this while, and arts club peeps who listened to my woes, provide advice and help me out in this difficult time. Which is why I don't really want holidays to come, coz I won't getta see my hall frens tt often le... ok, back to books, again... |
